Be someone people want to talk to again

• Say hello. Listen as much as you talk.
• If it isn’t clicking, it’s fine to say goodbye and end the call.
• Answer the questions after a call honestly. They’re anonymous, and they help good people rise.

Never

• Record anyone. No recording, streaming, screen-capturing or letting others listen in.
• Harass or threaten. No insults, intimidation, stalking, or pushing someone who wants to stop.
• Hate. Nothing that attacks people for race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
• Unwanted sexual talk. Nothing sexual unless the other person clearly welcomes it, and nothing sexual involving minors, ever.
• Minors. veehen is 18+. Don’t use it if you’re younger, and tell us if you meet someone who is.
• Pressure people for personal details such as where they live, their full name, photos or social media.
• Sell, spam or recruit. No selling, promoting, MLM, fundraising or campaigning on calls. Local businesses can use ads.
• Scam or deceive. No pretending to be someone else, asking for money, or phishing.
• Illegal or dangerous things. No threats of violence, encouraging self-harm, or arranging anything illegal.
• Cheat. No extra accounts, bots, or arranging calls to farm points, scores or referrals.

Usernames

No slurs, sexual or hateful names, impersonation of real people or brands, or names that share contact details. We may change a username that breaks these rules.

Reporting

Tap Report during or after a call. The call ends, and you won’t be paired with that person again. Reports are confidential: we never tell anyone who reported them. Each report costs the reported person points and is reviewed by us. For anything urgent, or if someone is in danger, contact local emergency services first.

What happens when someone breaks these guidelines

Depending on how serious it is and whether it keeps happening, we may remove points, limit when someone can be paired, or suspend or delete their account. Serious harm, threats or anything involving minors leads to immediate removal and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities. Your safety

• You never have to share anything about yourself.
• You can end a call at any moment.
• If you decide to meet someone in person, meet in a public place and tell a friend where you’ll be.
