Terms of Service
Last updated November 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and veehen (“we”, “us”) about using veehen.com. By ticking the box and entering veehen, you agree to them, to our Community Guidelines and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use veehen.
What veehen is
Every night from 8 to 10 PM in your time zone, veehen pairs you with someone within about 30 km for a two-minute, audio-only call. After a call you can answer a few quick questions, which feed an anonymous score. You earn points and ranks for taking part. Local businesses can buy small ads that show to people nearby.
Who can use veehen
- You must be 18 or older. If you’re not, you may not use veehen, and we’ll remove any account we believe belongs to someone younger.
- You must be allowed to use a service like this where you live.
- One account per person. Don’t share your account, sell it, or sign in as someone else.
- If we’ve removed your account before, don’t make a new one without our permission.
Your account
You sign in with a username and the postal code you signed up with. Anyone who knows both can sign in as you, so treat them like a password and don’t share them. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at hello@veehen.com if you think someone else is using it.
Usernames must not impersonate anyone, mislead people, or break our Community Guidelines. We may change or take back a username that does.
Talking to strangers
veehen connects you with people you don’t know. We don’t check who they are, and we can’t control what they say. Use your judgement:
- Don’t share your full name, address, phone number, workplace or anything that would let someone find you, unless you choose to.
- You can end any call at any time, and report someone from the call.
- If you ever feel unsafe, end the call. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services.
Meeting anyone you talk to on veehen is your own decision and your own risk.
How you must behave
Follow our Community Guidelines. In short: be decent, keep it legal, and don’t record people. In particular, you must not:
- Record, stream or rebroadcast a call, or let anyone listen in without the other person knowing.
- Harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone, or engage in hate speech.
- Say or do anything sexual with someone who hasn’t clearly welcomed it, or anything sexual involving minors.
- Use veehen to scam, spam, sell, recruit or promote anything (ads are the only place for that, under our Advertising Policy).
- Use bots, scripts or extra accounts, or try to game points, scores, ranks, referrals or ad clicks.
- Interfere with veehen, probe it for weaknesses, or get around anything we use to keep it safe.
Scores, points and ranks
Scores, points and ranks are for fun and to encourage good calls. They have no cash value and can’t be sold, transferred or exchanged for money. We may change how they’re earned, correct mistakes, and remove points earned by breaking these terms. Rank perks (such as bonus ad clicks, a discount or a free ad) may change, and we’ll update our pages when they do.
Ads and payments
If you buy an ad, our Advertising Policy also applies. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. Prices are shown before you pay and include the number of clicks you’re buying.
Reports, suspensions and removal
We review reports and may warn you, limit what you can do, or suspend or delete your account if we believe you broke these terms or the Community Guidelines, or put someone at risk. Where it’s safe and practical, we’ll tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, email hello@veehen.com.
You can stop using veehen at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@veehen.com.
Our content and yours
veehen’s name, look and software belong to us. You may use veehen for your own personal, non-commercial use, and for nothing else without our permission. Anything you give us, such as your username or an ad, stays yours, but you let us use it to run and promote veehen (for example, showing your ad to people nearby). If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Changes to veehen
veehen is new. We may add, change or remove features, change the nightly window, or stop running veehen. We’ll try to give notice of big changes.
No guarantees
We provide veehen “as is”. We don’t promise that it will always be available, that you’ll be paired with anyone, that calls will connect or sound clear, or that other people will behave well. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that veehen is fit for a particular purpose.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, for lost profits or data, or for anything another person says or does, on or off veehen. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $50 CAD. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Your responsibility to us
If you break these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there instead.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new terms before you continue. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Everything else
If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later. You can’t transfer these terms to anyone; we may transfer them if veehen changes hands. These terms, the Community Guidelines, the Advertising Policy (if you advertise) and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us.
